Maths

This term we have been doing maths problem solving in little groups. Maths problem solving is when we all work out the question that the teacher has given us. Also there are some experts that work with the teacher so they can help us as well. We were learning how to measure, times tables and addition. I think my group works well because we are always helping each other and talk about the question.

We went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about Matariki and how it is celebrated. We played maui matau and also mu Torere. I learnt different maori games. I even got taught how to weave fish which was really cool and I found out that Matariki means Maori New year. We went to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about Matariki and how it is celebrated.
