Procedural Text
This Term in Te Maunga we have been focusing on our procedural text. I was also learning how to make my writing more interesting. I mostly learned to use time sequence words. There was a lot more of what I had learned but it was amazing because I learnt a lot. What helped with my learning was I got to go to lots of workshops and that I got to set my own goals. What also helped me was I got to choose what I wanted to write about. I was controlling my own learning to help me with what I want to do not what other people want me to do because I won’t learn. What I think I have to work on next time is looking back at my work and proofreading. I think I also have to evidence my work.

Writing goals
At the beginning of term 2 we had to choose our own writing and spelling goals. When the whole class had finished their writing goals they have to choose some spelling goals just like they had to choose some writing and spelling goals. When they all know their goals they get to make some new goals. Our WALT was to choose our own goals.

Critter Alliteration
Today we had the opportunity to add our voice, using the Screencastify app, to our google slide. We learnt to speak loud for our critter alliteration. We all had turns saying our bit to the alliteration. Mrs N sent us the link to embed our Critter alliteration onto our blog. Here is our amazing alphabetical alliteration for you to watch. I love comments.

Alliteration Critters
W.A.L.T. write an alliteration describing a relationship between two creatures. We used a shared Google Doc to write our alliteration. In a shared Google Slide we had to add a background then inserted png images of the critters.
